"Jake and Katie Emling of Root 42 Harvests have been growing fruits and vegetables in and for their Medina community since 2020.

Root 42 Harvests specializes in the production of herbs, microgreens, lettuce varieties, and specialty leafy greens such as spinach, kale, arugula, and bok choy. Their local produce is grown predominantly hydroponically in their greenhouses located on Columbia Road in Lafayette Township. If you’ve dined at Ocelot Cafe and Bakery, The Farmer’s Table, and Planted Flag Brewing, chances are that you have dined on their clean, local produce!

Their produce is available year-round through their online store or farm stand and in the summer you can find their produce at the Medina Square Farmers Market. They are excited to be bringing a selection of their seasonal and year-round produce to Boyert’s once again this winter!"
