Spring Planting & Pruning Seminar

Now is the time to prune those trees and shrubs for spring! By cutting back certain plants now (like hydrangeas and roses), you will be rewarded with beautiful blooms and vigorous health that helps ward off diseases. Our nursery manager Brian will cover what trees and shrubs should be cut back this time of year, what tools you should use, and demonstrate how to prune them. He’ll also cover how to properly plant a tree or shrub — how big to dig a hole, how to amend the soil, what fertilizers you should use, and how to keep it happy for years to come!
