Learn how to turn your food desert into a pollinator’s paradise! A certified ambassador from the Medina County Beekeepers Association will be here on 9/12 at 6:00 to give a presentation on why pollinators are important, what’s happening to the populations and what we can do to help. She’ll also discuss how to take care of bees, how to distinguish between bees, wasps, and flies and which types of flowers, herbs and shrubs are best to plant to support our bees. She will be handing out common milkweed seeds, packets of native wildflowers, and printouts on planting guides. And best for last, we will have a free sampling of different local honeys! Please RSVP at 330-725-3509.
